Your tasks
- Managing entire development lifecycle of HW platforms (PCIe, appliance, smartcards) on a global level, including HW specific software (PLDs/microcontroller, appliance operating system, applets)
- Setting strategic HW tech goals and defining development roadmap in line with business goals
- Making sure hardware deliverables are of high quality and meet certification, compliance and security standards
- Driving suppliers and partners that contribute to HW products & collaborate with supply chain
- Managing resources and ensures team and people development
- Partnering with other R&D managers to align strategic goals and their implementation.
Your profile
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in hardware/software design and development, with at least 5 years in a leadership or architecture role.
- Experience in developing and leading soft- and/or hardware development teams along with experience and ability to influence at all levels
- Deep understanding of hardware design and development processes
- Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements (e.g., FCC, CE, ISO).
- Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus), both written and oral with the ability to convey complex technical concepts.
